Articles & Blog PostsI spend the whole summer with my grandmother.Every year we go there with a family, shop in the sea, rest and, of course, meet a lot of relatives.I’m not going to tell you how my summer is going to go, but I’m going to tell you what makes it special.It is about the oldest members of our grandmother and grandfather family.I can’t imagine my summer holidays without them.We come and try to spend with these people as much time as possible, to help in the farm they have, to feed all the animals, but sometimes it seems that my grandmother and grandmother are more active than we and many children of our age.Special for me are the evening, when grandmother is already getting to sleep, and we are sitting with my grandmother, drinking tea and he tells us about the time of war.At that moment he was a child, somewhere 10-12 years old, but how well he remembers the events from his grandmother, which in essence was not even, if judged by the mouths of the man of our time.A lot of games did not happen, rather they found adventures.One of them was somehow a turning tank, which they met with his friends.The boys went into it, found the munitions, got the dust, and so they played.He also stood in the time of the hunger that his family had, like everyone at that time, difficult, so now he is glad that the food is on the table.I often complain that I’m tired and I’m doing so much, though I think I’m not alone at school, but it’s unlikely that tiredness and work will be compared to the grandparents at that time.He tells the same stories every summer, but with each year they open to me from a new side and in their own.After hearing these stories, I understand how much I have and how happy I have to be.They are the people I respect most in my life and I am glad they have.May 9 is a great holiday for our family and of course for the eldest members of our family.
