    set of gears for climate control servo drive (FAW Besturn X80

    Complete restoration of the internal mechanism of the automotive climate control flap actuator for FAW Besturn X80. Creation of precise 3D copies of three broken double gears based on a physical sample.

    The main challenge was the accurate calculation of gear meshing for three different gears operating within a single gearbox. Measurements of tooth modules, shaft fittings, and specific stroke limiters were conducted for correct positioning of the flaps.

    A full set of CAD models was developed. After 3D printing with engineering plastic, the mechanism was assembled in the original housing. All gears operate synchronously, without play or jamming. The climate control failure issue was completely resolved without replacing the expensive unit.
