This work was conducted solely for the purpose of determining the terms, scope, and cost of my participation in a similar project, as well as to demonstrate the results.
… 1. There are situations when you have an old construction project (#building). You have the building itself. You want to #renovate it or make changes to its appearance. (Let me clarify right away – this is not landscape design, but the design of the building's exterior). The client wants to visualize how the proposed project will look. But you only have access to the old project documentation.
2. What can be done with this:
- If you have #PDF documents, you can #scale them in CAD software to make approximate measurements and compile a list of new elements with dimensions (this will not be suitable for builders, but calculating the cost is quite possible). This will take about 2-3 days.
- Create a visualization of the building's exterior using a simplified model with the necessary adjustments (again, not suitable for construction, but a good understanding of the result). The timelines will depend on the scale and complexity of the work. In this project, the work was completed in 8 days (equivalent to $350).
- I will immediately answer a frequently asked question: "I do not provide a 3D model, as the goal of the event is the final image." The model will be created hastily, in a simplified program, and is not suitable for production or photorealism.

This was a real project involving the production of a brand stand.
Stages:
1) Creation of a model suitable for assembly according to the declared materials and processes (technical task);
2) Visualisation of the model (approval by Logos);
… 3) Drawings for the assembler to help them understand the assembly and assembly process.
4) Separate drawings for each stage of production (with detailed information on metal, CNC, MDF and fittings).
5) A general estimate of materials (specification and cutting).
Time:
always depends on the complexity and workload of production.
Corrections to this project had to be made during the assembly process, involving changes to some units and parts. The team worked quickly and efficiently, and the final product was ready in about one month.
Cost:
The cost of the project is based on a clear volume and stages of work ($4.5 per hour).
This was calculated based on my workload.
