Telegram bot for barber shop
Bot Development
A Telegram bot for booking appointments with a master, featuring functionality for both clients and administrators. Clients can schedule a haircut by choosing a convenient date and time from the master's schedule, confirm or cancel the appointment. Automatic reminders are sent before and after the visit: one day before, one hour before, and two weeks after. There is a survey available regarding the condition of hair or beard, as well as the option to leave feedback and receive a one-time discount for participation. The bot allows viewing the price list of services and prices, browsing the master's portfolio (photos and videos from the media library), and automatically sends greetings and birthday discounts.
For the administrator, a flexible schedule management system is implemented (adding and editing working days), a complete client database with pagination and user cards, editing the price list and media, and setting discounts. Additionally, there is an option to mark whether the client has arrived and collect feedback in the form of a rating from 1 to 5 stars.
… Technically, the bot is built on the Telegram Bot API using ConversationHandler and InlineKeyboard for dialogues and buttons. All interactions with the MySQL database are performed asynchronously using aiomysql. Data about clients, appointments, surveys, settings, and media files are stored. To ensure stability, logging and error handling are implemented.

Thanks to built-in routing, plan pages and order forms are easily scalable and manageable without additional libraries. The interface is structured as separate UI components, making code reuse and maintenance easier. For styling, Tailwind CSS or another utility-first CSS system is likely used, allowing quick adaptation of the design to different screens and user needs.

The algorithm for checking messages on Instagram and sending notifications on Telegram operates based on several key stages. First, using Selenium, the algorithm automates the login to the Instagram account, after which it navigates to the direct messages section.
After that, it searches for unread messages, counting their number. Depending on the number of unread messages (one, several, or many), the algorithm forms the appropriate notification. In the end, the bot sends the notification via Telegram to inform the user about new messages on Instagram.

The bot was developed to automate the process of searching for spare parts using article numbers and calculating the cost taking into account the markup that can be adjusted by the manager. After receiving a request, the bot searches for the corresponding spare part on the supplier's website, analyzing the information obtained. It determines characteristics such as the name of the spare part, manufacturer, current price, and availability of the product in stock.
Thanks to the configured markup coefficient, the bot calculates the final price of the product, which the manager can change through the bot's function. This allows for dynamic adjustment of pricing policy depending on market conditions or the individual needs of the company. After processing the request, the bot provides the user with all the information in a convenient format: a text description of the spare part and its photo, if available on the website.
