Gulay Orucova

I am a 20-year-old journalism student with practical experience in television and digital media. I currently work in the media field, where my responsibilities include reading news, translating materials, editing content, and preparing accurate, fact-based journalistic texts. I have taken part in various journalism-related training programs and regularly conduct independent research, including investigative topics. I approach my work with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility. I am goal-oriented, hardworking, and able to work efficiently under deadlines. Alongside traditional journalism, I actively work with digital media and new platforms. I am the creator of an independent media project focused on the history and meaning of famous songs, approached from a journalistic perspective and aimed at an international English-speaking audience. Through this project, I work with storytelling, subtitles, and audience engagement across YouTube and Instagram. My skills include news and broadcast writing, translation of media content, content editing and proofreading, research and fact-checking, and digital content creation. I am communicative, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and in a team. I am currently seeking remote and freelance opportunities where I can apply my skills and begin working immediately.
