The tale of the chick
Illustrations & DrawingsThis work continues my series of educational stories for children. My central idea was to explore the theme of empathy and responsibility. I wanted to show that even the smallest creature can feel responsible for the whole world and have the courage to help someone who seems infinitely bigger and stronger. I chose the name "Sunshine" for the chick not just by chance. It creates a conceptual connection between the hero and the celestial body. My idea was that the chick sees the sun not just as an object, but as a "great friend" with whom it feels a kinship. The main message I embedded in the ending is that "light never disappears forever." This is an important message about hope and the cyclicality of life that I wanted to convey to the reader through a simple and understandable story.

The tale of the little mouse
Illustrations & DrawingsThis work is a continuation of my cycle of stories about dreamers who are not afraid to go beyond the ordinary. My key idea here was to explore the conflict between pragmatism and intellectual curiosity. I created the image of the little mouse Miki as a symbol of ingenuity and resilience. I consciously contrasted Miki with his surroundings. While other mice are limited by thoughts of cheese, my hero strives to grasp what cannot be eaten. This is my metaphor for scientific inquiry and high aspirations. I chose a deep blue background color to emphasize the infinity of the night sky, against which the little mouse appears both fragile and extraordinarily brave. "The moon is not cheese, but an amazing world." This phrase is the foundation of my work. It is a call to abandon comfortable illusions in favor of real knowledge, no matter how distant it may seem.

The tale of the owl
Illustrations & DrawingsThis work — from the first word of the text to the last stroke of the illustration — embodies my vision of a fairy tale. My main idea was to create an image that breaks the stereotypes about the "predatory nature" of nocturnal birds, instead showing tenderness, an aesthetic perception of the world, and the ability to notice beauty where others see only darkness. I invented Rara as a "flower owl." While her surroundings focus on hunting, my heroine chooses the path of contemplation. This is a metaphor for creative people who see the world differently. This project for me is a story about finding one's own path and the ability to appreciate the unnoticed beauty. I infused this work with the desire to remind everyone that comfort begins with love for what surrounds us.
