      Result of the practical task.
      “Japanese desserts namagashi are not only incredibly beautiful but also unforgettable in scent,”—with such thoughts I chose the name Iroka (color + aroma) and complemented it with an elegant font.

      The symbol was more challenging. I couldn't decide what would suit it (in my opinion), and then I started to get inspired by existing desserts. I took several types and hand-drew them. I liked the blue-yellow treat the most—it exuded airiness, and that was what I needed.

      However, the full dessert itself did not work for the image as I wanted. I left it to rest. And before bed, after a nice game, I remembered that what I liked most about that dessert was not the dessert itself, but its flower. It is so… I look at it and seem to feel the aroma of namagashi live, and my mouth waters…

      Logo for a fictional café (cocoroan, where "cocoro" means heart and "an" means hut) of Japanese sweets, where a cat named Roan, belonging to the café owner, also resides.

      The name uses a play on words, as it can also be read as "coco Roan" (here Roan, meaning "Roan resides here"). And, unlike k, the letter c adds softness and roundness to the design and is also read as "k".

      … The image combines a traditional Japanese dessert with a cherry blossom flavor and the silhouette of a cat peacefully resting.
