One morning, Bunny woke up and saw the first flower peeking out from under the snow.
“Oh, Spring has come!” he cheered and ran to wake up his friends.

First, he knocked on Hedgehog’s burrow:
“Hedgehog, wake up! The sun is shining already!”
Then he called up to Squirrel:
“Squirrel, Spring is here! Let’s go to the meadow!”
All the animals came out of their homes, laughing and dancing. Bunny brought each of them a flower and said:
“Let’s welcome Spring together, because when we’re together — even the coldest winter feels short!”
And from that day on, every spring all the forest animals gather on the meadow to celebrate the coming of warmth. And Bunny is always the first to bring flowers
