Approach to implementation on prom.ua:
Prom.ua has limitations on custom code in templates. Two scenarios are possible:
Scenario A: embedding the calculator through additional fields in the product card. If you have a plan that supports custom HTML/JS in the product description, we implement it via iframe or embedded script. This works for most Pro plans and above.
Scenario B: a separate calculator microservice on a subdomain (calc.legno.com.ua), which integrates with the product cards via links or iframe. This bypasses the limitations of prom.ua and gives full control over the logic.
Calculator logic:
The user inputs the processing area, surface type (wood, metal, concrete), number of layers. The calculator calculates the required quantity based on the product parameters (consumption per m²) and suggests the closest packaging volume from your catalog.
Optionally, we add an "add to cart" button with the calculated quantity.
Before the main contract, we are ready to create a demo on one product (for example, primer or varnish). We will connect a test calculator, and you will see the logic before signing.
