Regarding the layout, the structure is straightforward: most of the page consists of repeated product cards in sections for games. Therefore, I will create one card component and one grid, while the sections for CS2, Dota 2, Rust, and TF2 will use the same component with a different set of data. Otherwise, it results in four almost identical layouts that would then need to be edited in four places.
I will provide complex neon glow effects as images, leaving only simple shadows and gradients in CSS. On such a long dark page, a stack of filters and shadows noticeably disrupts the smoothness of scrolling on weaker devices.
There are hundreds of images here, so I will use WebP, lazy-load below the first screen, and fixed proportions for the cards to prevent any jumping during loading.
The build is on Gulp with a modular structure: each block in a separate folder with its own scss and js, connected through imports. Color, spacing, and size tokens are in CSS variables, sizes in rem, grids on Grid and Flexbox, scripts in ES6+.
