Gazer — an international manufacturer of automotive electronics and anti-theft systems — is looking for a Automotive CAD Designer for remote work (full-time or part-time).
We are looking for a specialist who will create 3D models of automotive wiring and connection points for our security systems. Based on these models, renders for technical documentation, instructions, patents, and training materials will be developed.
Main tasks:
- Creation of 3D CAD models of automotive wiring, connectors, and connection points of Gazer systems for various makes and models of cars.
- Modeling wiring diagrams for alarm systems considering the actual architecture of the vehicle.
- Preparation of visual renders for:
- technical documentation,
- installer instructions,
- patent materials,
- internal and marketing materials.
- Adaptation of models to Gazer brand standards.
- Interaction with technical specialists to clarify connection logic and model accuracy.
- Ensuring high accuracy, scale, and technical reliability of models.
Requirements:
- Experience with CAD / 3D modeling (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, Blender, Inventor, or similar tools).
- Understanding of basic logic of automotive electrical systems / wiring (deep automotive electronics knowledge is not mandatory but will be an advantage).
- Experience in creating technical 3D models or engineering visualization.
- Attention to detail, systematic approach, accuracy.
- Ability to work with technical specifications and diagrams.
- Experience in preparing renders for documentation or patents — a big plus.
