Ескізні малюнки легше виконати - друком на прозорій основі.

Скоріш за все взагалі іх порізкою нихто не буде робіти. Дуже тонко - складно різати, вибирати,клеїти, та ще до кучи площа поклійкі буде мала - велик шанс що відклеїться.
Більш за те. НЕ ТРЕБА робити на прозорій. Навіщо? Можна зробити на білої... -
Авто біле. А прозору можна де завгодно фінішувати . Бо біле не завжди лягає по фону (відтінок).

згоден білий може бути різного відтінку.
Але не думаю, що це буде принципово.
+ питання що буде досяжно у Чикаго.
Це вже можна буде з’ясувати, коли буде готивитися макет до друку.
Можна зробити обідва варіанти - різниця буде лише к підложці окремим шаром білого.
+ Як я розумію клієнт бажає всеж розглянути і варіант порізки. -
Звичайно це буде принципово. По-перше друг в цьому випадку гірше порізки. Тим паче що всього один колір. А друкувати на білій з додатковим кольором білого по контуру взагалі дивно, вин точно відрізнятиметься від кольору авто.

Відтинок білого на вигнутої поверхні.. Де тіні, гра світла , бликі...
Ви сами якщо Вам не показати - на відстані в людський зріст - не знайдете межу. -
Не відклеїться, якщо нормальна плівка, навіть 751

Чим бльше поверхня - тім краще.
Ви сами взілися б вибирати це? А кліїти? Майте на увазі, що іноді плотер де що не прорізає гарно - приходиться ручками ножем доробляти.
У вас загальний контур буде більше ніж якщо це одним куском. -
Насправді - там поверх скориш за все треба прозорим Орагардом (чи чимось схожим) покріти - а відтоді - нема значення - чи це крупна порізка, чи дрібна.
Питання грошей. Більшисть макетчиків на Україні якщо є можлівість - обирають друк - і для клієнта це дешевше - бо менше роботи майстрів. -
Легше, але це не найкраще рішення

Порізка це на 3-7 років (може і 15) - кольорова плівка практично не вигорає.
Але ось нещодавно спілкувался з клієнтом з Італії - там на друк дають гарантію 15 років.
Що краще - робота в якії декілька операцій, чи де безлич? На кожному єтапі можуть бути помилки виконавця. То чим простише рішення - тим воно надініше. -
До речи ВИ вже знайшли хто буде друкувати, клеїти?

Просто є сенс спілкуватися з тим хто це робить.
З власного досвіду вони Вам безкоштовно дадуть поради - як краще зробити.
Насправді - макет буде однаковий - питання як його робити потім на друк - або вектором окреми кольори (краще відразу кусками у ширіну порізки)
Або тифами в 150-300 dpi -
Власне я, коли роблю під друк - роблю
- окремо частину для друку
- коремо тексти і лого за можливости, щоб точно по машині можна було отпозиціонировати важліви елементи
Може у Ваших підрядників будуть інши вимоги та побажання. -
- друк на на литой плівці Avery
- різка на полимерної плівці Arlon
- Плівка 3M Cast
наприклад я з ціми матеріалами не працював - то припускаю, що якість може бути настільки більше - що те до чого я звик (щоб уникати помилок при монтажі реклами) - не має ниякого значення.
А може навпаки - у них з якістю набагато гірше ниж у нас (як наприклад з мобильним зв’язком та інтернетом)...

І ще раз підкреслюю - різниця буде скориш за все саме в тому як готувати макет на друк.
Бо вихідник у будь-якому разі буде векторний. -
То можна зробити макет. Внести усі корегування. Погодити.
А потім поспілкуватися з друкарями - та визначитися по вартості за різний спосіб виконання.
Так навіть легше для Вас, бо вони скориз за все будуть Вас запитувати про макет для прорахунку. -
