Creating a comic using a neural network

It is necessary to develop an original comic, based on the capabilities of image generation using neural networks (for example, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or DALL·E). The plot can be anything: from science fiction and adventures to satire or children's stories. The main goal is to obtain an expressive sequence of illustrations and text inserts that will harmonize in style and atmosphere. It is also necessary to consider the specifics of the chosen genre and characters, as well as ensure the readability of dialogues and a convenient structure of pages or frames.

Main stages of work:

1. Plot and script. Jointly determine the key idea, central characters, conflicts, and development of the story, as well as the total number of illustrations or pages.

2. Style and design. Agree on the visual concept, including the palette, fonts, and type of rendering, and then configure the neural network (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL·E, or another) taking into account the chosen style.

3. Image generation. Based on correctly formulated requests (prompts), obtain a series of illustrations, and if necessary, refine or supplement them to achieve a cohesive artistic appearance and avoid stylistic inconsistencies.

4. Comic layout. Assemble the finished images along with dialogues and text inserts, design the pages, adjust the composition of frames, and if desired, add decorative elements. The final material should be presented in a format convenient for printing or electronic distribution (PDF, PNG, JPEG, etc.).

The performer must have a basic understanding of scriptwriting, be able to work with neural networks for image generation, and have basic skills in layout or design to assemble the project into a cohesive, finished product. The timelines for implementation are discussed individually: it all depends on the volume of the comic, the number of revisions, and the depth of visual development. The budget is set by agreement and depends on the complexity of the task, the number of characters, the development of the plot, the need for additional consultations, or test generations.
