I'm looking for a vector graphic designer for long-term collaboration.
I plan to create my own library of decorative ornaments to be used for decorating natural granite monuments. In the first stage, I want to order a small test set to evaluate the style of work, the quality of vectors, and the approach to execution.
Required to develop
- 3 horizontal decorative dividers;
- 2 small symmetrical ornaments;
- 1 decorative plant branch;
- 1 corner ornament.
All elements must be executed in a single restrained classic style suitable for use on granite monuments.
File requirements
The ornaments need to be prepared as neat editable vector files. The outlines should be smooth, without random duplicated lines, open areas, and excessive nodes. The use of automatic tracing is allowed as an intermediate step, provided that further manual refinement and cleaning of the vector is done. Detail should be well preserved when using the ornament at the agreed size.
At the first stage, a high-quality output vector is needed. Technical limitations for the specific engraving method will be additionally agreed with production if necessary.
Required formats
- AI or CDR (source file);
- SVG;
- DXF;
- EPS.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in creating:
- decorative ornaments;
- linear vector graphics;
- files for laser cutting, engraving, or CNC;
- elements for architecture, memorial products, or stone processing.
Please include examples of similar work or a portfolio in your response.
Budget
I intentionally do not specify a budget, as I cannot objectively assess the cost of such work yet.
Please propose:
- the cost of executing the test set;
- the estimated completion time;
- the number of revisions included in the cost.
