Cover design for a book on Amazon KDP (eBook + Paperback) in the genre of political analysis
56 USD I am looking for an experienced designer to create a cover for an English-language book for the Amazon KDP platform. Genre: Non-fiction, political analysis, investigation.
What is available (provided to the executor):
- A developed cover concept. This includes ready-made, high-quality illustrations for the front and back covers (AI-generated, vertical format, very detailed).
- Book title: Stupidity or Design?
- Subtitle: An Uncensored AI Honestly Connects the Dots on Global Elites, Systemic Control, the WEF, Mass Migration, and the Great Reset.
- Author's name (or pseudonym).
- Text for the back cover (Book blurb/description).
- Author's photo for the back cover.
What needs to be done:
- Edit the images: correct some flaws.
- Typography of the front cover: Select premium, modern fonts for the title and subtitle. The text must read perfectly even in a thumbnail on the Amazon website. Style: serious political thriller, analysis, cybernetics. The text should harmoniously fit into the existing illustration.
- Design of the back cover: Layout the book description text, place the author's photo and a short bio. Leave standard space for the Amazon barcode (ISBN). The background of the back cover should logically continue or harmonize with the front illustration.
- Spine design: Place the book title and author's name. The spine thickness will be calculated using the Amazon KDP Cover Calculator (the exact number of pages and paper type will be provided during the work).
- Preparation of files for printing and publication:
- Format for eBook: high-quality JPEG/PNG (RGB).
- Format for print (Paperback): Print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300 dpi) considering all bleeds and margins according to Amazon KDP standards.
- Preferably (not mandatory): Create 2-3 beautiful 3D mockups of the book for use in promotions and social media.
Terms of cooperation:
- The designer uses ready-made ideas and layouts and has no copyright on the cover, for which they write a short electronic receipt signed with an electronic signature, stating: "The cover design work was performed based on ready-made ideas, technical tasks, and layouts provided by the client for appropriate payment. As the executor, I confirm that I have no copyright on the created cover, as well as any of its elements and illustrations."
- Payment through escrow.
Candidate requirements:
- Mandatory experience in creating covers specifically for Amazon KDP (understanding of PDF requirements, bleed, barcodes).
- Excellent sense of typography (ability to work with English fonts).
