First, visualization: a neat table of wholesale prices on the product card based on your samples, and after selecting the quantity - a dynamic block with the amount of savings for the customer. I will duplicate that same block in the cart: amount without discount, amount with discount, difference. Technically, this is Twig templates plus a small controller. The second part - exporting discounts for all products to Excel, mass editing, and uploading back with an update of the discount table. A separate page in the admin panel. I will format everything as an OCMOD extension, without core modifications - it will survive engine updates and not affect other functionality.

And one more point: you mentioned that the next stage will be the technical specification for pricing and rounding. Therefore, in the savings block, I will immediately incorporate correct rounding of amounts, so that the pennies do not get lost and nothing needs to be redone later.

The task is clear. It is important not just to display wholesale prices beautifully, but to create a unified logic at all stages: product card → quantity selection → cart → order placement. The buyer should immediately see their benefit, and the amounts on the product page and in the cart must completely match.

What will be implemented

1. A new block of wholesale prices in the product card

Instead of a standard text list, there will be a neat block similar to the example in the screenshot:

retail price;
price for a certain quantity;
active wholesale level;
highlighting the selected price;
displaying savings in hryvnias and percentages.

For example:

Your price: 190 UAH/unit.
You save: 590 UAH, or 24%

When changing the quantity, the price and savings will be recalculated immediately, without reloading the page.

2. Correct display in the cart

For each product, the following will be shown:

initial price;
actual price considering the quantity;
total savings for the item;
total savings for the entire order.

For example:

249 UAH → 190 UAH/unit.
Savings for 10 units: 590 UAH

The calculation will be performed by OpenCart server logic, not just JavaScript, so the buyer will not see one price in the card and another in the cart.

3. Bulk editing of wholesale prices via Excel

There will be a separate section in the admin panel for exporting and importing discounts.

In Excel, it will be possible to edit:

SKU or product ID;
product name;
base price;
minimum quantity;
wholesale price;
customer group;
priority;
start and end date of the discount.

I will foresee file verification and a report after import:

how many products were updated;
which rows were skipped;
where the product was not found;
where there is an error in quantity or price.

Import will not create random duplicates of discounts. The update mode will be controlled: replacing existing levels or updating specific rows.

Technically

I will make the changes as a separate module/OCMOD, without chaotic editing of system files. CSS and JavaScript will also be separated. Before installation, I will make a backup of the modified files.

I will check the operation:

for guests and registered buyers;
for different customer groups;
with promotional prices;
with quantity changes in the card and cart;
after page refresh;
on mobile devices;
with taxes and the current formatting of store prices.

After completion, I will provide:

the finished module;
a list of modified files;
instructions for export and import;

Regarding the visualization: I will refine the product.twig template (or .tpl depending on the OC version) — when the quantity changes via JS, I will recalculate the difference between the retail and wholesale price and display the block "You save X UAH".
