Excel / Google Sheets templates for Money & Budgeting Starter Guide
Project Description:
It is necessary to create a set of financial tables (editable templates) in Excel (.xlsx) and Google Sheets format. Each table should have a neat design, simple formulas, a sample fill-in, and be ready for use even for beginners.

Number of templates: 5 main + 1 additional
Technical Specifications (for templates) - details can be done at your own discretion, the main thing is functionality and correctness of calculations
A pleasant design is required
1. Monthly Budget Tracker
Columns: Category, Planned, Actual, Difference
Sections: Income, Fixed Expenses, Variable Expenses, Savings
Formulas: SUM, automatic calculation of the difference (Planned – Actual).
Visualization: conditional formatting (red = over budget, green = savings).
2. Weekly Expense Log
Table for 7 days.
Columns: Date, Category, Amount, Notes.
Categories: Food, Transport, Shopping, Entertainment, Other.
Automatic calculation of expenses for the week.
3. Savings Goal Tracker
Field for entering Savings Goal (for example, $2000).
Field for Monthly Contribution.
Progress bar (% of goal completion).
Conditional formatting (the closer to the goal, the darker the fill).
4. Debt Payoff Tracker
Columns: Debt Name, Total Amount, Minimum Payment, Paid To Date, Balance.
Automatic update of Balance (Total – Paid).
Progress bar (% of repayment).
Ability to add multiple debts to the list.
5. Bill Payment Checklist
Table with regular payments (Rent, Internet, Phone, Insurance, Netflix, etc).
Columns: Bill, Due Date, Amount, Paid (Yes/No).
Checkbox for Paid.
Automatic calculation of paid/unpaid.
6 - Annual Budget Overview
Columns: Month, Income, Expenses, Savings, Balance.
Automatic calculation of balance by month.
Chart (line chart) for visualization.
Style Requirements
Minimalist design (white cells, light color accents).
Only standard fonts to avoid display issues.
All tables must be in separate sheets with the names: Monthly Budget, Weekly Log, Savings Tracker, Debt Tracker, Bill Checklist.
Each table should have a sample fill-in (3–4 rows).
Final Result
File Excel (.xlsx) with all templates.
File Google Sheets (shareable link).
Instruction (1 sheet) with a brief explanation: “How to use these templates”.
