Photo editing
I need a photo editor.
The main program to work with is Lightroom Classic.
Main tasks:
• color correction,
• working with white balance, contrast, light, and shadows,
• adjusting texture,
• lightly adding grain for atmosphere.
The background in my photos is usually not overexposed, but sometimes I darken it a bit and then use brushes to lighten the person. I often highlight the sky, increase contrast, and add warmth.
I have my own presets that I can share, but just applying a preset is not enough. After that, I manually adjust each photo, fine-tuning the balance and colors to make the result look natural.
I will also need to remove unnecessary objects from the frame — people who accidentally got into the background, poles, wires, etc. Right now, an AI tool in Lightroom does this well, but sometimes manual intervention may be needed, especially when an object is distracting.
I do not do plastic surgery and full skin retouching, but if it is necessary to tighten an arm a bit, remove a double chin, or a few pimples — this needs to be done in Photoshop.
Sometimes I quickly correct skin in Lightroom — I slightly reduce texture with a brush to make it look smoother, especially in portraits under bright light.
I also lighten the iris of the eyes and, when needed, slightly whiten teeth.
Overall, nothing complicated — the main thing is to understand my style and colors so that the result is pleasing to both me and the editor.
