This contractor lies without shame, and I have sufficient evidence that he is lying. It is very important for other people to know what kind of person this is. I have about 10 audio recordings from him and many written messages that he sent. At a minimum, his lies consist of the following:
(1) First, he completely failed to fulfill the initial task regarding the indexing of the website page. Confirmation that it was not done is in Google Search Console;
(2) Second, the contractor offered me to do additional work supposedly to alleviate the complications with indexing and to make it easier to manage the site. Then, we discussed prices and payment terms. The additional work involved translating the site from Opencart to WordPress. After that, he sent me the payment details. I neither verbally nor in writing offered to pay outside the platform! I have proof in the form of messages and audio recordings;
(3) Third, after I realized that this person was doing nothing and was just deceiving me, I gave him a final deadline to deliver the completed work; he sent me a promise to finish the work and deliver it the next day, however, he did not keep his promise. Then, he promised to deliver the completed work the next day by 09:00. What he sent cannot be called completed work. There is proof in the form of correspondence and audio recordings!
(4) Fourth, I asked him to return 4000.00 UAH as an advance for the work on translating the site from Opencart to WordPress. He replied that he currently does not have the financial means, so it would be more convenient for him to return the money to me in February (he did not specify the year), while he promised to return the money in December. I have proof in the form of audio and messages.
(5) Fifth, today in one of his messages, he asked me to log into the freelance platform to confirm the refund. Then, he wrote... SORRY THAT SUCH A SITUATION OCCURRED.
ATTENTION EVIDENCE:
(a) I have a screenshot of Google Search Console and correspondence with the contractor;
(b) I have an audio recording that the contractor sent me;
ATTENTION DECEPTION:
I have had different contractors for various jobs that I found through Freelancehut.com, and there has never been a contractor who so brazenly deceives and at the same time has the audacity to justify his actions;
What he probably considers a threat from my side is that I informed him that I would write all the facts in the reviews, nothing more than that. I already know for sure that he will not return my 4000.00 UAH, and I have lost 3 weeks!
