There is a specific task - to integrate a fantasy map into the WordPress site. The file is about 5 GB .ai with a lot of layers and thousands of details.
The file is difficult to convert even to PDF, and converting it to an image reduces the quality.
However, it is possible.

On PC, the site zooms in legibly more or less.
Since everything is scattered across layers, ideally an interactive version of the map is needed.

Something like this is needed, but of course much simpler. I understand that the scope of the task is quite large, but to avoid confusion, it is necessary that when zooming in, large names fade away and small ones appear, and it would be desirable that by clicking on the settlement label, a window with information about it could open, but this is the maximum requirement.
At a minimum, integration of the map and zooming is required.
