Integration of WhatsApp with Odoo CRM (gray solution) + ERP setup for the future
Hello! We are looking for an experienced specialist or team to set up a two-way integration of the messenger WhatsApp with the CRM system Odoo.
⚠️ Important clarification regarding the integration: The official WhatsApp Business API (WABA) is not of interest. We need a stable "gray" solution (connection via QR code scanning / WhatsApp Web) that will work without session fees and company verification. We need to select a reliable gateway (e.g., Green API, Whapi, services based on Baileys, etc.) with minimal risk of number blocking and good performance speed.
🚀 Work for the future: This task is just the first step and a "test drive" for the performer. We are looking for a reliable partner for long-term cooperation. The plans include full deployment, customization, and configuration of the Odoo ERP system for automating the work of all departments of the company (sales, warehouse, procurement, finance, etc.) and optimizing business processes. If we successfully complete this initial task, we are ready to discuss ongoing work on a large project.
📋 What needs to be done now (Stage 1):
Connection and gateway selection: Help select and configure the optimal service for gray WhatsApp integration.
Synchronization with Odoo CRM:
Automatically create a new lead/contact in Odoo upon the first customer inquiry in WhatsApp.
Link message history to existing customer cards (two-way exchange).
Functionality for managers:
Send and receive text, images, and documents directly from the Odoo interface.
Protection against bans: Consult on limits and security rules (warming up the number, delays between messages) to minimize the risk of blocking by Meta.
🛠 Requirements for the performer:
Practical experience in integrating Odoo with unofficial WhatsApp gateways.
Deep understanding of the architecture of Odoo (experience working not only with CRM but also with other ERP modules — Sales, Inventory, Purchase, etc., as this will be needed in the future).
Understanding the specifics of "gray" solutions (how to bypass critical updates of WhatsApp Web, etc.).
