Founding Marketing Specialist for Early-Stage Marketplace Startup (Ongoing Collaboration) We're looking for a creative, proactive marketing specialist to help launch and grow an exciting new marketplace startup.About Kavaar.com Kavaar.com is an online marketplace built specifically for local makers, artisans, and small creative businesses. Unlike traditional marketplaces, Kavaar.com is more than just a place to showcase products. It's also a business management platform that helps makers run and grow their businesses with tools to: Manage customer orders Invoice clients Communicate with customers Track inventory Organize and streamline day-to-day operations Our mission is to make it easier for talented local makers to grow successful businesses while helping customers discover unique, locally made products.The Challenge Our biggest challenge right now is onboarding makers to the platform. We're actively meeting makers at local markets and farmers markets, reaching out through Facebook Marketplace and social media, and introducing them to Kavaar. The response has been encouraging—many makers are interested—but they often ask for more information before deciding to join. At the moment, we have very limited marketing materials and virtually no social media presence. We're looking for someone who can help us build a professional, trustworthy brand and create marketing materials that clearly communicate the value of joining Kavaar.What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys working with startups and can help us establish a strong marketing foundation. Ideally, you have experience with some or all of the following: Social media marketing Graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) Content creation and copywriting Brand development Email marketing Marketing strategy Startup or small business marketing Marketplace or e-commerce experience (a plus)Initial Scope of Work (First 30 Days) Our initial goal is to create a solid foundation—not launch every marketing initiative at once. During the first month, we'd like to focus on: Designing a professional flyer that we can distribute at maker markets and networking events Creating a one-page "Why Join Kavaar?" handout that explains the platform and its benefits Establishing a simple, consistent visual style for our social media Creating the first 8–10 social media posts (graphics and copy) for Instagram and Facebook Recommending a realistic content strategy and posting schedule Meeting with us periodically to brainstorm additional ideas for attracting makers and growing the platformLong-Term Opportunity If we're a good fit, we'd love to continue working together on an ongoing basis. Future projects may include: Email marketing campaigns Promotional materials for events Ongoing social media management New product and feature announcements Marketing campaigns to attract both makers and customers Paid advertising and growth initiatives We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing ideas to the table, not just executing a task list. It is necessary to develop the design of the exhibition stand and catalog 1. Exhibition Stand It is necessary to create layouts for: reception (front panel); suspended sign with logo; vertical banner (pillar); top panels of the stand. The layouts must correspond to the brand style. An example of the stand design and all necessary dimensions will be provided after agreeing on the collaboration. 2. Catalog It is necessary to develop the design of the product catalog. At this stage, there is no exact layout or approved concept yet. We can provide examples that we like in style, but they will serve only as a guideline. Detailed specifications, catalog structure, number of pages, materials, and preferences will be provided after agreeing on the collaboration.
