1. Task Description
A freelancer is required for comprehensive preparation of a new store on the Etsy marketplace for operation within a tight timeframe. The task includes full setup of the seller account, connecting the Etsy Payments payment system, creating listings for digital products, and preparing a simple instructional guide for future independent use of the store.
2. Requirements for the performer and tasks
The freelancer must complete the following steps:
2.1. Basic store setup:
- Fill in the main store information: name, logo, banner.
- Configure the
About section, filling it with the provided text. - Create and configure the store policies (Shop Policies) according to Etsy requirements (return policy, terms of use, etc.).
2.2. Setting up Etsy Payments:
- Connect and fully configure Etsy Payments, including linking a bank account for payouts.
- Important: Ensure all data is entered correctly and the system is ready to accept payments.
2.3. Creating listings (product cards):
- Create 10 listings for digital products.
- For each item, fill in all mandatory fields:
- Product name
- Detailed description
- Price
- Upload files for download (files will be provided).
- Upload covers and additional images (images will be provided).
2.4. Listing optimization (tags and SEO):
- Add all 13 available tags, keywords, and metadata to each of the 10 products to maximize visibility in Etsy search.
- Important: Independently select relevant tags based on each product's description for better ranking.
3. Source data and access
To perform the task, the performer will be provided with:
- Access to the Etsy marketplace account (login, password).
- Bank account details for connecting Etsy Payments.
- Folders with files and materials for each of the 10 products (texts, images, download files).
4. Expected result
The following points should be completed as a result of the work:
- A fully configured and ready-to-operate Etsy store.
- Correctly connected and functioning Etsy Payments system.
- 10 optimized and sale-ready digital product listings.
- A brief step-by-step instruction with screenshots explaining how to use the main store functions (e.g., how to check new orders, view sales statistics, edit a listing).
- A brief report on the work done and recommendations.
