Proofreading of textbooks

A proofreader is needed to review educational material (textbook / manual / digital course).
The materials are aimed at students, so not only literacy is important, but also attention to structure and logic of presentation.

Scope of work:

• approximately: from 20 to 300 pages (long-term cooperation)
• format: PDF after typesetting

Tasks:

• correction of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors
• checking the consistency of terminology
• control of numbering (tasks, sections, subsections)
• checking the correspondence of captions to illustrations and tables
• identification of logical inaccuracies (if necessary — with a comment)
• control of technical formatting (paragraphs, fonts, highlighting, text structure)
• checking the consistency of formatting (abbreviations, designations, formatting)

Test task (mandatory)

A small fragment of text will be provided for quality assessment.

Payment for work: from 10000 to 25000 per month depending on the volume of work.
