Kosiv ceramics in the interior of the kitchen-living room

The goal is to find a solution where Kosiv ceramics looks natural, modern, and appropriate in the interior of the kitchen-living room.

Initial Data

• renders of the existing interior;
• photos of Kosiv ceramics (tiles 10×10 cm; if needed, also 5×5 or 15×15 cm, less commonly available);
• if necessary — a floor plan and dimensions.

Criteria

• Organic integration of Kosiv ceramics.
• Harmony of the color palette.
• Feeling of a modern, cozy living space (without excessive stylization for ethnic or commercial space - not like a hotel and not like a Ukrainian cuisine restaurant!)
• Aesthetics of the solution.

Requirements

• The main integration area is the kitchen backsplash. If you believe the ceramics would work better in another location or in combination with the backsplash — feel free to suggest.
• Changing the color of the facades is allowed. Preference is given to light or neutral shades if they better support the overall concept.
• The floor color cannot be changed.
• Do not propose a complete redesign, but small changes in structure are possible.

Outcome of this project

• Propose 2–3 concepts that differ in color palette, method of using ceramics, or overall mood of the interior;

• For each concept provide:

  • 1–2 renders or photomontages;
  • a brief description (3–5 sentences).
• A full design project, working drawings, or specifications are not required — just the design idea and its visual presentation.
