A course project is required for the subject "Technical Operation of Ship Electrical and Electronic Equipment".
Topic: "Technical Operation and Connection of the CPU Fan Electric Drive".
I will send the technical data of the electric drive.
Methodological recommendations and additional materials will be provided to the selected performer in personal messages after preliminary discussion.
The work must be carried out according to the methodological recommendations, which I will attach to the project.
Required tasks:
- An explanatory note of approximately 35–40 pages.
- Description of the ship's power station and the ship's 440 V network.
- Description of the CPU fan electric motor and its operating conditions.
- Calculation part:
- calculation of the motor's rated current;
- cable selection;
- voltage drop check over a length of 90 m;
- calculation of short-circuit currents;
- selection of circuit breaker, contactor, thermal relay / motor protection.
- A one-line diagram for connecting the electric motor, preferably in a format suitable for further design as A1.
- A section on installation, testing, maintenance, typical faults, and safety measures.
- Conclusions and a list of sources.
Formatting: Ukrainian language, Word, Times New Roman 14, 1.5 line spacing, with formulas, explanations, tables/figures, and references to sources.
Important: a performer with an understanding of electrical engineering, electric drives, or ship electrical equipment is needed. Simply generated text without real calculations is not acceptable.
Important condition: the work must pass the instructor's review. In case of comments on the methodology, calculations, formatting, or connection diagram, the performer must make corrections within the scope of the initial task.
