What will you do? Our client is a large-sized company, which offers full management, training and recruitment services for the aviation industry. A developed platform combines the possibilities of recruitment, workflow, skills procedure for staff, and personal data collection.

YSBM Group specialists help the client to expand and maintain the functionality of this platform. It is your chance to create great things!

Requirements for Candidate:

• Your English Level is B2 (Upper-Intermediate).
• PHP is your language of choice and you have used it in a professional context for at least 3 years. You also value staying up-to-date with the language’s features and you’ve been using PHP 8.2 for the last few months.
• You have excellent Laravel skills, having employed most of the framework’s core features (the service container, eloquent, collections, validation, middleware, routing, queues, the schedule, service providers, and facades) in your day-to-day work activities.
• You don’t write a single method, function, statement, or class in PHP without an accompanying test.
• If you come across code that you’ve not written yourself that has room for improvement (legacy code, for instance), you make the improvements yourself.
• When it comes to writing code, there is one thing that you focus on above all else: Readability. You care about other people (and yourself) being able to read your code and understand it with as little effort as possible. To your mind, maintainability and quality are heavily dependent on the code being readable.
• You have always been curious about the wide variety of javascript frameworks out there, but you prefer Vue.js (3.0 and the options-API). You have also looked into Angular and React but found Vue to be the superior choice.
• In your javascript-related tasks, you have often found the need to use stores for managing states. Vuex and Pinia were the natural tools for this job.
• The component-library Quasar 2.0 is something you’re familiar with and you much prefer others having already done most of the design work so that you don’t have to.
• When it comes to design and usability, you have a keen eye but you also understand that staying consistent with the company branding supersedes an individual’s design choices.
• You know very well how to use Git and GitHub and you care about writing informative, succinct commit-messages.
• You are no stranger to dev-ops and CI and you know how to use GitHub actions to make life easier when collaborating with others.
• Kanban (and ideally Trello) is a tool you’re familiar with and you understand how it is used for project-management purposes.
• You are not afraid to ask questions and admit ignorance. Instead of spending hours on end attempting to solve an issue by yourself, you would rather ask your co-workers for help.
• When an issue arises, be it social- or work-related, you share with us what is on your mind. To you, being happy and content in the workspace depends on good communication skills.
• There’s no doubt in your mind: Mac > PC
