As for high DR... You probably understand that Ahrefs is a private company and has no relation to Google's algorithm, just as Google's algorithm has no relation to this company... just take any website and check the DR on Ahrefs... I am sure... that most of the links to this site no longer work... or they are not indexed... or return a 404 code...
So according to Ahrefs DR, the authority seems great... but for Google's algorithm, it's worthless...
This is just a guideline, not a panacea... because there are no other options... but blindly publishing on websites just because Ahrefs shows a high DR is, at the very least, reckless... this also applies to MOZ's DA assessment... these services are great to boast about if you want to sell publications of articles from other websites, but for promoting your own products... there should be a slightly different approach... I hope you understand my point...
And I will add: if your page is not at least in the TOP 100, then links will not help you.
