1. Project Context
Title: PlateFood — Fast Delivery
Category: Food and Beverages (delivery from local restaurants)
Positioning: "Local restaurants, delivered warm" — local restaurants,
delivered warm; emphasis on simplicity, lack of visual noise ("No clutter, no
noise"), honesty and care (100% tips to the courier, fair pricing).
Audience: mass consumer aged 18–45, ordering food for home; plus courier-
partners (second segment, but the icon is aimed at food customers).
Task: develop the final app icon in all formats necessary for
publication in Google Play and App Store, preserving/clarifying the style of the current brand icon.
The reference for the current icon is attached (see file). The analysis below is mandatory for
preservation in the new version if the task is "to maintain style," or is explicitly fixed
as a basis for easy re-styling.
2. Analysis of the reference icon (current version)
Background shape: squircle (rounded square / squircle), close to the standard mask
of Android/iOS icons, corner rounding ~20–22% of the side.
Background: filled with a warm terracotta/burnt orange color, approximately #C6522E —
#C85A34 (to be specified with a pipette from the vector file), with a barely noticeable radial
darkening towards the corners (light vignetting gradient, no more than 8–10% brightness difference) —
creates a soft volume without obvious 3D.
Central element: circle "plate" — filled with a warm milky-cream color,
approximately #F7EEDD / #FAF1E4, with a thin ring-border of a slightly more saturated
pink-peach tone along the inner edge (outline ~4–5% thickness of the diameter
of the circle) — imitation of a plate's rim.
Iconography inside the plate: silhouettes of a fork and knife, filled with the same terracotta
color as the background — simple flat geometric shapes, the fork's tines are rectangular
with rounded tips, the knife — teardrop-shaped blade + straight handle. No outlines,
only silhouette fill.
Execution style: completely flat (flat design), without shadows, gradients on the
cutlery icons, without highlights; the only hint of volume — soft vignette of the background.
Composition: perfectly centered, symmetrical, the plate occupies ~70% of the width
of the icon, the cutlery — ~45% of the plate's height, the space around the elements is sufficient for
readability at small sizes.
Mood: warm, appetizing, simple — corresponds to the slogan "delivered warm," "no
clutter, no noise."

4. Technical requirements
Source file — vector (Figma/Illustrator/Sketch), all layers named and editable.
Raster exports — PNG-24 with alpha channel (except App Store 1024×1024, where alpha is
not allowed).
For Android adaptive icon — separate foreground/background layers according to safe zone
(cropping by the system in a circle/square/squircle — the element should not be critically cropped in
any of the masks).
Colors — in a unified color system (HEX + if necessary Pantone/CMYK for
printing), matching the overall brand book of the app (if available — attach).
Check the readability of the icon on: white background, dark background (dark mode), in reduced
size 24×24 px.
The icon must be recognizable and not confused with competitors' icons (Uber Eats, Wolt,
Glovo, DoorDash, etc.) — avoid typical "fork+knife in a circle" solutions one-to-one.
