Search for future logo developments for our agency Swell Design. A complete logo set is needed: a mascot, a wordmark, and a combined version — based on how it is done in monobank (the octopus separately, the text separately, together).
What needs to be done:
- Mascot - an octopus that will be the face of the brand
- Wordmark - the text "Swell Design" with viral typography
- Combined logo — octopus + text together
- Descriptor "design" with the name "SWELL"
Concept of the mascot: A wise, strong, confident octopus — an old master who knows everything and is not surprised by anything. Not aggressive, not cute, not soft. Eyes half-closed with a horizontal pupil of the octopus) - convey seriousness and intelligence without aggression.
Technical information:
- 2D, flat vector design, style 2026
- Curved geometric head, symmetrical body, 8 tentacles
- Each tentacle ends with a slight curl — this is a signature detail
- Color: orange on a black background, without gradients and shadows
- The silhouette should be instantly recognizable
Important: the mascot and wordmark must be in a unified style — the tentacles of the octopus and the letters "LL" in Swell should resonate graphically.
Avoid: aggressive imagery, associations with kraken, heavy details, asymmetric compositions.
Images: SVG, AI, PNG (on transparent and black backgrounds).
Materials: full brief and references (style, typography, likes/dislikes) attached to the project as separate files - please refer to the feedback.
Format: For vector finalists — a small test task: a black concept of the mascot (can be a sketch or in black) + an idea for the wordmark. No finalization, the goal is to see thinking and direction. There is no payment for testing, but there is work to be done to get the product started from now on after the concept approval.
