Technical Specification: Migration of Online Store from Magento to OpenCart
Goal:
Migration of the online store from Magento to OpenCart or development from scratch on OpenCart while maintaining the overall style of the current website.
Project Description:
Our online store is currently on Magento, but we have hardly started filling it, as the platform turned out to be overly complex for our needs.
A basic online store on OpenCart with simple and user-friendly management, similar design, and preparation for further integration with 1C is required.
What needs to be done:
Transfer the site from Magento to OpenCart or create a similar site on OpenCart from scratch.
Preserve the visual structure and style of the current site (link will be provided).
Configure product and order exchange with 1C (universal exchange format).
Implement standard online store functionality:
Product catalog
Product card
Shopping cart
Checkout
Registration/Login
Search
Filtering
After launch — prepare product feed for Merchant Center (Google Merchant).
Additional:
It is desirable to preserve SEO-friendly URLs if they already exist.
The site must be responsive (mobile version).
Ability to independently edit content and add products.
Platform: OpenCart (preferably the latest stable version)
Timeline: discussed, but preferably promptly
