With Yuriy, we did part of the work outside the service. From the beginning, he demonstrated himself as a serious and professional person who could be trusted.
At one point, without even talking to our team, having a part of the code for which he did not pay on the repository with features even from the next stage - he passes the project to another developer, and informs us afterwards that he will not pay.
As a result, the person has free code on the repository that took time to develop, which is passed on to another developer, and we are left without payment for our work. Perhaps this scheme has been repeated with different developers several times already.
Overall, I think it is possible to work with the client, but I highly recommend either having a well-written contract or working entirely through freelancing.
