Need an OC module that looks at folders with images and automatically creates products — without manually filling each one.
I will implement it through the standard MVC OpenCart 3.x: the controller in admin/controller/module, the model works directly through the tables oc_product/oc_product_image/oc_product_to_category. Scanning folders using PHP RecursiveDirectoryIterator with a filter for jpg/jpeg/webp, the order of images is preserved by filename with an explicit sort_order. Before creation — check for duplicates by folder name, integration with the SKU module through checking for its helper and calling it via the standard registry. The log only writes errors to a separate table with a timestamp.
Please tell me: are the images stored on the server in a pre-known root directory, or does the user specify the path through the interface?
