YouTube/Bilibili project editor (long-term collaboration)

We are looking for a creative video editor for long-term collaboration on a Ukrainian-Chinese blog about Ukraine for the Chinese platform Bilibili. (possibly with further uploads to other platforms.)

About the project

We want to release entertaining and educational videos

The format varies; these can be humorous video reactions that require many meme inserts, as well as educational videos that simply require editing and creating infographics

Duration of one video: 5–7 minutes.

We plan to release 2–4 videos per month.

What needs to be done

• dynamic video editing;
• color correction;
• sound enhancement;
• working with pace and attention retention;
• zooms, speed-ups, freeze frames;
• adding memes, GIFs, images, reactions;
• selecting sound effects;
• animated text inserts;
• syncing sound with reactions;
• if necessary — simple animation of elements.

We provide:

• raw footage;
• detailed editing script;
• all dialogues;
• explanations of which memes or effects we want to see.

It is welcome if the editor also offers their own ideas to enhance the humor.

What editing style we are looking for

We are not interested in classic calm editing.

We are looking for someone who can work in a modern fast style:

• MrBeast;
• Ryan Trahan;
• IShowSpeed (editing pace);
• modern YouTube vlogs;
• Bilibili;
• Douyin.

What is important

• willingness to offer their own solutions;
• responsibility regarding deadlines;
• ability for long-term collaboration.

Will be a plus

• experience in editing humorous videos;
• knowledge of modern memes;
• experience working with YouTube or TikTok content;
• understanding the principles of keeping the viewer's attention.

What we ask in the application

1. Links to 2–5 of your works. (or references to similar formats)
2. Which program you use for editing.
3. Estimated cost of editing one video lasting 5–7 minutes.
4. How much time it usually takes to edit such a video.
