Parser configuration (ebay-amazon)
We are currently working on restoring the parser's functionality. We have already fixed critical server errors (issues with DPAPI keys and launching Chrome/Selenium). The application runs stably, the database is connected, and the browser starts.
Problem: The parser is running idle. The product loop runs, but new prices are not being saved (Excel files are generated empty). The logs are clean, and there are no errors.
What needs to be done:
Diagnostics of data collection logic: The project uses Selenium + AngleSharp. It is necessary to check the relevance of the selectors (the DOM structure of the marketplaces may have changed) and the correctness of data retrieval (Price, Shipping, Offers Count).
Analysis of the data transmission chain: Check the validation conditions of objects before writing them to the database/Excel (possibly, data is being filtered out due to incomplete field filling).
Session optimization: Check the driver settings for correct price display (regional settings, Zip codes).
Requirements: Experience with C# (.NET 9), Selenium, AngleSharp. Understanding the specifics of anti-fraud systems of Amazon and eBay.

1895 16 0 Hello. I am ready to discuss collaboration. For the marketplaces eBay and Amazon, creating a product parser (scraper) requires constant monitoring of selector compliance, as they can change after each update. I suggest considering the possibility of implementing product collection from these marketplaces by connecting their official APIs, which are designed for such tasks. Using Selenium for this does not guarantee stable operation. Please contact me.
