We are looking for someone to write 3 good analytical materials about the legislative power in the Russian Federation.
About the project:
A large media outlet about politics and society is seeking an author who can write deeply and clearly about the legislative power in Russia - from the law-making processes to the behind-the-scenes mechanisms of decision-making.
Tasks:
- Preparation of three analytical materials, columns, and news articles on the topic of the State Duma, Federation Council, draft laws, and parliamentary discussions.
- Decoding and understanding new initiatives: who is behind them, why, and what the consequences are.
- Creating texts that are understandable to both professional audiences and the general public.
Requirements:
- Experience in journalism / political PR / analytics.
- Understanding of how the Russian parliament works, the process of passing laws, and the role of committees.
- Competent, expressive language and the ability to write interestingly about complex issues.
- Ability to seek and obtain insights.
- Experience collaborating with federal media or government structures will be a plus.
