Set up a Tailscale virtual network
We are looking for a way to obtain residential IP addresses in the required countries.
There is an idea to use the service tailscale.com
this is a tool for creating virtual networks, it can provide access to a device behind NAT (in a single IP address space) and allow devices to be used as exit nodes, i.e. to route traffic through them.
The scheme is as follows:
+ the client device is connected via Wi-Fi to its router
+ the router with installed tailscale uses the server device as an exit node and routes its traffic and the traffic of all who are connected to it through it.
So far, it has been configured
the tailscale service on openwrt routes traffic through the required exit node.
Next, it needs to be set up so that when the router is turned on, it automatically connects to the exit node
and so that when the exit node goes down, the traffic does not start going through the regular internet.
It is also necessary to configure access rights (ACL) in this service in a specific way.
And it is necessary to configure DNS so that only the DNS of the exit node is used and the router does not use the provider's DNS, so there would be no DNS leak on checker sites.
And it needs to be done so that the VPN is not detected (remove reverse ping, possibly deal with MTU, apply other measures if necessary).
