Task:
Need to set up server-side integration of the Meta (Facebook) Conversions API on the server side of the website.
Context:
The website is advertised through Facebook Ads. The Advantage+ feature was enabled, after which an offer appeared in the Facebook Ads Manager to fine-tune the Conversions API (the "Start Setup" button).
I understand that this is not just installing a JS pixel in HTML.
As far as I have figured out, server-side integration is required, where:
the code is placed on the website's server, not just in the user's browser;
conversion data is sent directly from server to server to Facebook via the API;
a server-side language (PHP / Python / Node.js, etc.) can be used for implementation;
a request to the Facebook API is formed to transmit conversion events.
I also know that usually such integration is done through a CMS, but in my case there is no CMS, and it is necessary to implement direct server-side sending of events from the website.
