Вообще это нездраво - мало ли какие у вас там модули стоят и конфликт вызывают, полностью ситуацию не повторишь, так что гарантий реальных, что оно у вас заработает, никто не даст.

Не вижу в этом проблемы. Скачивай денвер (к примеру его). Разворачиваем на локалке joomla с его дефолтной темой. Ставим и настраиваем нужный плагин. Смотрим в чем ошибка, правим. Радуемся жизни
