We are looking for a .NET architect with experience in designing application and database architecture for a product management platform across multiple marketplaces.
We plan to work with 12 marketplaces, each of which uses a separate database to store product information (static and dynamic data, categories, stores, brands, competitor monitoring, and blacklists). We need to develop a unified logical database structure and application architecture that will integrate all the products we sell across different platforms.
The system must support:
Tracking the source of the product (from which marketplace it was obtained),
Managing where and at what price the product is listed,
Publishing, updating, and deleting product listings via marketplace APIs,
Data transformation (language, photo, description, categories) when transferring products between marketplaces.
Requirements:
We expect you to have:
Confident experience in designing .NET application architecture (modular or microservices),
Deep knowledge in designing relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and experience building solutions designed for scale (100k+ records, dozens of operations per second),
Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, etc.) and asynchronous task processing,
Experience integrating external APIs (e.g., marketplaces or SaaS services),
Understanding of data transformation and normalization principles from heterogeneous sources,
Knowledge of approaches to logging, monitoring, and synchronization between systems.
Collaboration format:
Phase 1: Several hourly consultations to discuss the task and architectural proposals.
Phase 2: If we agree on the approach — we will hand over the architecture development and its documentation to you, with a possible transition to a broader technical/architectural role.
How to respond:
Please describe similar projects you have participated in — preferably in the field of e-commerce, multi-channel product management, or systems with large volumes of data and integration with external APIs.
We will be particularly interested in:
Experience designing scalable systems using PostgreSQL (or similar DBMS),
Managing products listed across multiple sales channels (marketplaces, online stores, etc.).
