The project for the redesign of the ROV interface is very interesting. We are working in tandem: I (Nina) am responsible for management and the technical specifications, while the technical part is handled by a developer with deep experience in Python (PySide6/PyQt) and fine-tuning QSS.
How we will transform your current GUI into a modern Dashboard:
Pixel-perfect QSS: We will transfer all parameters from Figma (Border-radius, Font-family, RGBA colors, states :hover and :pressed). We know the nuances of Qt rendering, where regular CSS is not enough.
Complex components (Tables and Progress bars): For the table (Active Drivers), we will implement custom Delegates or style QHeaderView to achieve those rounded corners and margins that the standard Style Sheet does not cover.
Working with QtDesigner: We do not need to rewrite your code from scratch. We will integrate styles directly into .ui files or move them to a separate .qss resource for convenient support in the future.
