Book layout is needed.
33 USD I wrote a book on the iPad in the Pages app. I don't have a laptop.
I thought that since there is a function to save in EPUB format, it would work for me, but when I finished the book, saved it in EPUB, and opened it in the reader, all the formatting went to hell, all the layout and lines disappeared. I know that in PAGES there are options to save with floating layout and fixed layout - they don't help. Now I saved the book in PDF and only in this format does my normal layout remain along with all the paragraph styles and highlights that I applied in Pages (title, subtitle, main text, etc.). PDF is great, it reads well on the iPad, but it's not very convenient on phones. I need EPUB. There are no complex tables in the book. There are about ten transparent images, purely as decorative elements in PNG. I tried asking friends to save it in Pages on a MacBook, but it didn't help. And converters also don't help.
