обновление с 15й версии до 18 невозможно. Возможно только настроить всё с нуля похожим образом. система не обновится, синтаксис конфигов в демонах также изменилась с тех времён.

мне админа который до этого помогал так же сказал. но если делать с нуля, это нужно создавать новый дроплет на ДО, там будет новый ИП скорей всего, нужно будет ДНС и другие доменные записи обновлять?

и кстати если с нуля делать то возможно выбирать не убунту, а что-то по лучше? ну настроек там очень много придется восстанавливать, много раз там что то не работало при расширении функционала и приходилось влезать разным людям подтюнивать.
