Но желательно первоначально выяснить, для чего сыну C++ (это достаточно экзотичный и сложный выбор). Скорее всего, он хочет сделать что то конкретное (игры, например писать).
А уже после этого, репетитора желательно нанимать в той же сфере, куда стремится сын. Хотя базовым принципам ООП и синтаксису могут учить люди и из другой области разработки.

в 14 лет - он думает, что понимает
разница в предназначении, пороге входа и применении
совсем отличается
вы только испортите то, что он уже знал
синтаксис совсем другой . после питона он ахнет
и там нет такого понятия, как пеп8 - что очень важно
или станет очередным ****кодером
и да, С++ компилируется, а потом исполняется
питон работает в реальном времени - сразу
если простым языком.
