Vacancy: Odoo Developer (Migration Specialist)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Odoo developer to manage the migration of our Odoo ERP system from version 16 to version 18. This is a critical project that requires deep knowledge in Odoo development, database management, and module configuration. A successful migration will ensure no data loss, seamless operation, and full functionality of the system after the upgrade.

This migration is the first phase of our project. If we are satisfied with the work, there will be an opportunity to continue improving the online store and redesigning the B2B online store in the next phase.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Migrate our Odoo ERP from v16 to v18, ensuring a smooth and error-free transition. ✔ Preserve all data, settings, and configurations to ensure business continuity. ✔ Ensure that all custom modules and third-party integrations remain functional after migration. ✔ Conduct thorough testing to verify system performance and identify potential issues. ✔ Provide technical documentation detailing changes, updates, and best practices. ✔ Offer post-migration support to address any immediate technical issues.

Requirements

✔ Proven experience in Odoo development and migration, particularly between major versions. ✔ Extensive experience in configuring Python modules, PostgreSQL, and Odoo. ✔ Knowledge of web development technologies (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus. ✔ Experience with ERP data integrity and security best practices. ✔ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ✔ Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Project Terms

Engagement Type: Contract-based (Phase 1: Migration)

Payment: state your amount

Project Scope: migration, verification, documentation, and post-migration support

Future Opportunities: additional work on improving the online store and B2B redesign
