Optimize WordPress: the admin panel is slow when working with large pages and posts
27 USD There are several websites of different CMS on the Ubuntu 18 LTS server, nginx/1.24.
We are not considering updates above this Ubuntu for specific reasons.
We migrated a new site from shared hosting (resources were already insufficient) and are trying to optimize it properly, but it still lags terribly even here.
Problematic site on WordPress 6.4.5 with a purchased and modified theme from 2022 + Slider Revolution 6.5.15 + WPBakery Page Builder 7.2 + about a dozen other plugins. We do not raise the WP version above 6.4.x due to the risk of the theme breaking, but this is acceptable if it can be done without losing functionality.

We added workers, but it did not have a significant impact

All other sites work fine. This one works fine too, as long as you don't go into the admin panel and don't work with large pages/posts. The problem may be in the builder, or perhaps it is indeed a matter of resources that it specifically lacks (there are free resources on the server), or maybe caching needs to be added (if it also affects the admin panel) or some update needs to be installed.
Focus on optimizing the problematic site, but if there is a need to tweak additional resources from the server - we can consider it. As mentioned above, other sites work fine. This "problematic" site was also tested on another VPS with CentOS before Ubuntu - it was the same.
