Task: Optimization of the Winlator program and implementation of autorun for MU Online
I am looking for an experienced person to handle the optimization of Winlator for the stability of MU Online (32-bit version).
Problems to solve:
- Memory leak and DirectX – I suspect that Winlator does not manage the cache properly, which leads to the game crashing after reaching the 4 GB RAM limit.
- Memory management optimization – it is necessary to eliminate the leak and improve the resource release mechanism.
- Implementation of game autorun – after optimization, I would like to add the function of automatically starting MU Online when Winlator starts.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Winlator and its backend (Wine + Box64/Box86)
- Experience in debugging memory leaks and optimizing DirectX
- Ability to modify Winlator's configuration files
- Ability to create a game autorun script
