Hello! I looked at your table — and it's clear why it's incomplete: Google Maps returns a limited number of results for one query, so "Naperville + Car Dealer" gives 4 instead of 25 in one search. The rest are simply "beyond the output limit."

I do it differently: I break the area (Chicago + suburbs) into smaller sections and go through each category separately — Car / Used / New Dealer plus all brands from the list, then I compile everything together and deduplicate by Place ID. This way, all unique entries are extracted, not just the top of the list.

The result is a table: name, address, phone, website, rating, Place ID. The estimate is $150-200, 2-4 days.

Send me the list of suburbs and car brands — I will gather everything on them. What other fields are needed in the table?

Hello! I specialize in automation and data parsing — your case is just right for this.

I see the main reason for the incompleteness in the previous result: there are 4 dealers for Naperville in the table, while you found 25 manually. This is a classic Google Maps trap — the search returns a maximum of ~60 results for one query, so for a large city, some companies are simply cut off. I solve this with a grid: I divide Chicago and its suburbs into squares and pull each category (Car Dealer, Used/New Car Dealer + branded Toyota/Ford/BMW/Honda Dealer) separately, and then deduplicate everything through Place ID. This way, all unique companies make it into the table, not just the top results.

The result is a summary table: name, address, coordinates, category, Place ID. Before payment, I can do one test example for Naperville for free, so you can compare it with your 25 and ensure completeness.

Question: Will you provide the list of car brands and the final list of suburbs separately, or should I focus on the entire Chicago metro (Cook + neighboring counties)?

Price: 1200 UAH for the entire volume, deadline 3 days. I’m starting out — gathering initial reviews on Freelancehunt.

Hello! I constantly parse Google Maps, extracting by categories with deduplication through Place ID, so there won't be any gaps like with those 4 dealers instead of 25. For Chicago with suburbs and branded categories, I will gather all unique car dealerships into a table with addresses, phone numbers, and links. Please send me the list of towns and car brands you are interested in, and I will estimate the exact volume and timeline.

Hello!

I figured out why the previous result was incomplete: Google Maps (and Places API) limits the number of results per search query (~20-60), regardless of how many objects actually exist in the city. When searching with a broad query "Car Dealer" across all of Chicago — that’s why Neperville showed 4 instead of 25 actual unique dealers: most simply didn’t fit into the results of a single query.

The solution is to break the search into a geo-grid: separate queries for smaller areas/quadrants of the city and each suburb separately, rather than one query for the entire agglomeration. This provides complete coverage instead of lost results due to the output limit.

What I will do:
— Search by categories (Car Dealer, Used Car Dealer, New Car Dealer + brand dealers) separately for Chicago and each suburb from the list, with geo-grid breakdown of queries
— Deduplication through Place ID
— Result — a table (name, address, phone, website, category, city)

😀 Hello, Taras!

I have experience in parsing Google Maps while bypassing the limit of 60 results per query — by dividing the area into smaller geographical sectors (grid/radius search) + deduplication by unique Place ID.

Here's how I will do it:
1) I will divide the specified area (city + suburbs) into a grid of coordinates.
2) I will collect data by categories/brands through the Google Places API or scraping (depending on the budget for API quotas).
3) Deduplication by Place ID — no duplicates.
4) I will export: name/category/address/city/phone/website/rating/reviews/Place ID/map link.

Good day, Taras!
I have reviewed your task and the table. I see that the previous database was incomplete, so I can gather current data not only for Chicago but also for the entire metropolitan area, including the suburbs.
I will collect the information without duplicates, carefully check the data, and format everything in Google Sheets as required.
I would be happy to collaborate! Good day!
I can perform data parsing from Google Maps and format the results into an Excel table similar to the one you attached to the task. If needed, I will gather all necessary fields: company name, address, and other metadata you require.
I work carefully, responsibly, and adhere to agreed deadlines.
My freelance profile is still new, but I take my work seriously and am interested in completing your task with high quality.
I would be happy to collaborate!
Sincerely,
Lyubov

Hello! I am ready to complete this task efficiently and quickly. I have my own developments and ready scripts for Google Maps parsers that bypass limits and deduplicate by Place ID (using Python + BeautifulSoup/Selenium or the official API, depending on the best way to gather a complete database without gaps).

I will compile a complete database of dealers in Chicago and the suburbs based on your entire list of brands and categories, without missing any that were in the previous result. I will provide the results in a convenient Google Sheet.

I am ready to discuss the details, please send the lists of cities and brands. I am ready to start immediately!

Good day! I have reviewed the description. I understand why the previous result was incomplete — Google Maps often does not show all companies in one search. To obtain the most complete database, it is necessary to collect data across several categories, separately go through each car brand and all suburbs of Chicago, after which the results should be combined and deduplicated by Place ID. I can perform such work and provide a finished table. To estimate the cost, I would like to receive a list of brands and a list of cities (suburbs) that need to be included.

Hello! Parsing Google Maps is my main specialization, and I have my own developments for this. I see your problem with the previous result: incomplete coverage (4 dealers instead of 25 in the city) — this is a classic mistake when the parser only takes the first screen of results and does not scroll the map or cover neighboring areas.

How I will do it correctly: I will go through the search grid across all of Chicago and the suburbs (not with one query, but by neighborhoods/zip codes), with several synonyms for categories — this way, all points will be included in the results, not just the top 20. I will clean duplicates by name + address + coordinates, and remove closed ones.

I will provide a table with complete coverage: name, city, phone, website/social media, category, link to the card.

Deadline: 2 days, cost 3000 UAH, I work through Safe. Question: are you only interested in Chicago and the suburbs, or will we scale to other cities later? And what category of dealers specifically (conditionally — only official ones, or also reseller stores)?

Good day, I have my own parser that will collect everything without duplicates. The contact will include at least a name and phone number, and other information if available. The price is 1 UAH per contact. I have launched my parser, and in Naperville, there are already 29 contacts for the request "Car Dealer," and the parsing is not yet finished.

Good day! I have some groundwork, so there’s no need to create the parser from scratch. Could you please indicate what the approximate volume of data should be? I understand the issues of the previous project, as simple parsing only extracts the first results from the map.

I will collect all points completely, clean duplicates by Place ID, and provide a clean table. I usually complete similar tasks in 1-2 days.

An incomplete sample from Google Maps distorts market assessment: you risk missing dealers in the suburbs of Chicago and working with a database that does not reflect real competition.

I will gather companies by specified categories and individual brands for Chicago and an agreed list of suburbs. I will use Apify to collect data from Google Maps, check the coverage of each city and category, then combine the results into one table and perform deduplication by Place ID. The final table will contain unique car dealerships with contact information, categories, addresses, and links to profiles—without manual searching and random omissions.

I have a lead generator case on Apify + OpenAI: I collected and enriched potential client data to obtain a usable database, not just a raw export.

Hello! I looked at the previous result — I see why it is incomplete. For Naperville, there are 4 dealers instead of 25 because Google Maps returns a limited number of results for one query. Therefore, the query "Car Dealer, Chicago" does not physically pull all of them.

I will gather the complete data like this: I will go through each category and brand SEPARATELY for Chicago and each small suburb, then I will merge everything and remove duplicates by Place ID — nothing will be lost. In the table, I will provide the name, address, phone, website, rating, and number of reviews (we will agree on the fields).

This is a one-time job, and I will deliver a clean table.

Deadline: 1–2 days. Cost: 1000 UAH (the account is new — I am gathering my first reviews, so I am offering a good deal).

Hello! I have reviewed the task and looked over the provided table.

Why the previous contractor provided only 4 dealers instead of 25:
Google Maps has a limitation - it returns no more than 60 results for a single search query, even if there are physically 100+. The previous contractor simply gathered the initial output "head-on," which caused ~80% of the data to be lost.

How I will conduct the collection:

Collection by geo-grid: I will set up the collection not just by city names, but by breaking down Chicago and all suburbs into smaller geographic sectors (Grid / Radius Search). This allows bypassing the Google limit and extracting all dealers.

Categories and brands: I will collect data for all specified categories (Car Dealer, Used Car Dealer, New Car Dealer) + specific brands (Toyota Dealer, Ford Dealer, etc., according to your list).

I need to extract the most complete list of car dealers in Chicago and the suburbs, without any omissions as in the previous result.

I will do this through the Google Maps API (Places API, Nearby Search + Text Search for each category and each brand) with a breakdown into a grid of coordinates across the area to bypass the limit of 60 results per request. Deduplication via Place ID will be automatic. The result will be in Google Sheets: name, address, city, phone, website, rating, category, Place ID.

You will provide the list of cities/suburbs, or I will create a radius of ~80 km from downtown Chicago and cover the entire area with a grid.

How many brand categories are in your final list, and do you need hours of operation and coordinates in the result?

Taras, I see the problem in the incompleteness of the previous data collection. The current result misses a significant portion of local dealers due to search query limitations, so to cover all entities in Chicago and the suburbs, we need to change the approach to geographic scanning and iteratively process each category separately using a search radius.

I will start parsing with the aim of providing full coverage for the specified categories and brands, ensuring the output is structured where each record is checked for uniqueness by Place ID. In the end, you will receive a deduplicated table with all found points without any missed locations.

How many cities are included in your list for processing, besides Chicago itself, and are there any restrictions on the specific search radius from the center of each city? I already have such a project implemented, message me and I will provide an example of the parsing!!!!!
