Requirements for the article:

• Volume: 6,000–8,000 words.

• Structure:
  — Introduction (relevance of the problem, purpose and objectives of the research)
  — Literature review (publications on the digitalization of finance, the role of cash, banking innovations, research by international organizations — BIS, IMF, ECB, NBU, etc.)
  — Research methodology (comparative analysis, case studies of individual countries, analysis of trends and statistics)
  — Main part:
    • Trends in the reduction of cash circulation worldwide
    • Impact of central bank digital currencies (CBDC) and electronic payment systems
    • Risks and challenges (cybersecurity, financial inclusion, public trust)
    • How banks adapt business models (digital services, innovative products, partnerships with fintech companies)
    • Prospects for cash in the coming decades
  — Conclusions (summary of results, future scenarios, recommendations for banks and regulators).

• Use at least 30 sources, including:
  — Publications from the last 5–7 years
  — Articles from Scopus, Web of Science
  — Research from international financial organizations (BIS, IMF, ECB, World Bank)
  — Works on economics, finance, digital currencies, banking innovations
  — If possible — articles published in journals on financial and economic topics

• The text must be original, analytical, logically coherent, written in academic language and adapted for further translation into English for publication in the international scientific journal International Journal of Electronic Finance (Scopus, Q3).
