We are looking for an experienced programmer / team / company for long-term support and active development of a complex ERP/CRM system built on Python + Django.
The project is not typical — the system was created from scratch to suit the specifics of the logistics business (cargo/aviation/delivery), and has a large amount of business logic and custom solutions.
Current project status:
• The system is in active use, has extensive functionality, and is actively developing.
• Many interconnected models and logic.
• A flexible role and access rights system has been implemented.
• A large amount of built-in analytics and complex data calculation formulas.
What needs to be implemented in the near future:
• Integration with mobile applications (not yet implemented, but planned — high priority).
• Integration with Data Collection Terminals (DCT) (not yet implemented, full module development planned — scanners, photo fixation, weight accounting, etc.).
• Integration with airline APIs (requires designing and implementing from scratch).
• Optimization of work with large volumes of data.
• Expansion of existing analytics.
• Ongoing support: bug fixing, refactoring, optimization.
Our requirements for the specialist / team:
• Deep knowledge of Python + Django.
• Experience working with large, complex ERP/CRM systems with rich business logic.
• Ability to quickly navigate complex code with many models and relationships.
• Experience with API integration (including complex ones — such as airline, DCT, etc.).
• Understanding the specifics of logistics/cargo/delivery systems will be a big plus.
• Ability to work with a multi-level role and access rights system.
• Experience in building analytics and calculation modules in such systems — a plus.
Particularly important:
• Speed of response to tasks and requests (this is a key criterion for us when choosing a new contractor; the previous contractor had very slow responses — we do not want that anymore).
• Portfolio of implemented similar ERP/CRM systems — this will be mandatory consideration when selecting a contractor.
• It will be a huge plus if your team already has all the necessary specialists (Python/Django backend, API integrations, working with DCT, analytics, etc.), so you do not need to hire additional freelancers for our tasks.
• Responsibility, a systematic approach to work.
• Willingness for long-term cooperation.
Not interested in:
• Beginners without experience with large ERP/CRM systems.
• Candidates who have not worked with Django on real projects.
• Template freelancers who do simple websites, online stores, etc.
• Contractors who start looking for performers “on the fly” on freelance platforms after receiving the project.
Collaboration format:
Long-term cooperation.
Payment form — hourly or phased (by agreement).
We work without strict time tracking, but with a priority on response speed.
